Implantable Cardiac Monitors
Sometimes arrhythmias can occur infrequently or lead to syncope or “passing out”. In these cases, a small cardiac monitor, approximately the size of a paperclip, can be implanted just underneath the skin over the heart an look for an arrhythmia for up to 3 years!
